eTwinning My Childhood Bucket List – Part 4

Lights, Camera… Safety!

In February, our project "My Childhood Bucket List" proved that even the biggest dreams need the right "digital" instructions. We transformed our classrooms into safety workshops and cinema halls, laying solid foundations for our children’s digital journeys so that they can let their imagination run wild—without fear!

Becoming Digital Explorers

We kicked things off by celebrating Safer Internet Day in a way that truly put our students in the shoes of a digital explorer. Through the activity "If this were my screen", students engaged in deep reflection. Each class described a real-life problem a child might encounter online and uploaded these "digital challenges" on a collaborative board.

Then, something magical happened: classes from other countries became our consultants! They responded with clever advice on the best ways to react, creating a transnational shield of protection for everyone involved.

A Dreamy Day at the Movies

Since the ultimate goal of any childhood bucket list is to see dreams come true, we organised our very own Dream Movie Day—and the experience was soul-stirring. Cinema teaches us to dream big and dare even bigger!

Students from all partner schools voted on six wonderful children’s movies centered around the theme of dreams. Once the winning film was announced, our school transformed into a living cinema. We recreated the full theatre experience—from the excitement of printing and tearing authentic tickets at the door to the nostalgic popcorn aroma filling the hall. It wasn't just a movie; it was a cinematic voyage that left our students brimming with inspiration and excitement!

From the Screen to the Canvas

After the screening, the children channelled their excitement into art! Under the guidance of our Art Teacher, our students became little creators, painting their favourite characters chasing their dreams. This transformed our classrooms into vibrant "Dream Galleries."

At the end of the day, we weren't just left with colourful sketches; we were left with the certainty that no dream is too big if you have the courage to take the first step!
